# Configuration contains ingress/asset with URL which already has asset attached to it in your tenant

Issue 

When you try to connect an agent to management and get the next error:

"Configuration contains ingress/asset with url which already has an asset attached to it in your tenant. ReferenceID: \<ReferenceID>"&#x20;

### Fix

Please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the assets tab in the management portal and remove existing assets with the same URL&#x20;
2. &#x20;Enforce the change
3. Try to connect again

If the existing asset is locked (usually this is the case when connected to a declarative management profile):

These steps should be followed only if the profile is not connected to any other active agents or assets.

1. Identify the profile the asses is connected to
2. Navigate to the "Profile Tab" and change the management type to "This Management"&#x20;

1. Enforce the change
2. Navigate to the assets tab in the management portal and remove existing assets with the same URL&#x20;
3. &#x20;Enforce the change
4. Try to connect again
